Dane Swan Takes AFL MVP
On monday night, Dane Swan, the now clear Brownlow Medal favourite, took home the AFLPA Most Valuable Player Award. The very modest, Swan, was the clear winner, racking up 972 votes, polling more than 300 more votes than second place, Luke Hodge, and Gary Ablett coming in a close third. But now Swan looks ahead to his sides' Preliminary Final, in two weeks time against either The Dockers or The Cats.
Brad Johnson To Retire
16 years ago, Brad Johnson, played his debut game for the Western Bulldogs. But now, 362 games and 558 goals later 'The Smiling Assassin' has decided to call it quits.
His retirement is not immediate though, as he will be apart of his sides clash against Sydney this Saturday.
